The Gospel doesn't change, but with each generation the Church must face the challenges of communicating the Gospel in all of its glory. This Sunday, in our Missions Emphasis Sunday, we will look at creative developments in global missions which address these challenges.

In Mark 2:23-3:6, the Pharisees catch Jesus and His disciples doing "work" on the Sabbath. In response, Jesus declares Himself "Lord of the Sabbath," and instructs them about the true and original meaning of Sabbath-keeping. This is the kind of Sabbath we should want to keep!

Forgiveness can be such a freeing thing for our lives, but if we're honest, we know how hard it is to get to the place of forgiveness... both forgiving and receiving forgiveness. What would your life be like if you let God lead you to that place?
